Microsoft OneDrive is a cloud based online storage system and remote computing tool. The previous name of the program was SkyDrive. It allows you to sync files and folders between multiple Windows PCs. All the files are stored in the online drive, which can be accessed using your Hotmail/Outlook account. You may also browse though the files and folders in any of the hard disks connected to a PC. You can also access the program on Windows, iPhone and Android mobiles. The SkyDrive program will automatically be converted to OneDrive so there is no need to download the program separately.
